Welcome to Augusta, Kansas!

We have several relaxing and enjoyable parks, lakes, and events that occur in our city.

Here you will see a wonderful display of photos that show our best qualities.

Play Park ~ This newly developed Play Park was designed and developed to captivate the children and draw the public into the area of our lake.

The Play Park is directly in front of The Augusta City Lake, purposely to allow your children to play, while you can enjoy the peaceful and scenic view.

Library ~ Our newly renovated Library offers a spacious floor level with internet accessibility and computerized card catalogs.  The basement level is dedicated to the children's section, with a wall mural.

Here you will find all the children's books, magazines, and interactive computerized learning centers.  There is also a relaxing reading section that makes the children feel welcomed. This section also lets them feel as though this area was designed solely and especially for them.

Golf Course ~ Our plush green golf course offers a quality set for our golfers here in Augusta.

City Pool ~ The city pool has spouts that sprays water upon entry.

The pool has a sloped designed in order to prevent small children from accidentally falling in.  This design allows a parent to better "watch" their child while also cooling off by the pool.

It also is designed with a swirling slide.

The pool employs 6-8 on site Life Guards.

Augusta Historical Theatre ~ has regular showings every weekend! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is $4.50 for ALL. Call for an update showing schedule 775-2900.
