Development and distribution of promotional materials that describe the many assets our community for prospective residents, business owners, and visitors. |

Welcome Program / Jennifer Eberhardt, Chairwoman

The Chamber will continue to grow this program to welcome new residents to Augusta, giving member businesses the opportunity to get their business name in front of potential new clients. |

Frisco Depot / Mark McCollom and Troy Waltemath, Co-Chairmen

The Chamber, along with City and DAI will develop plan for depot renovation, roof restoration and complete applications for historical designation and historic preservation grant. |

The Chamber will continue to work with the City of Augusta and other area organizations to explore avenues for building or acquiring a community facility that could be used by local citizens for gatherings and recreation. |

The Chamber will work to redesign and enhance our community festival. This is the Chambers largest source of revenue and an event that adds to the quality of life of our community. |

Held the first Saturday of December, the Chamber Ambassadors sponsor the Christmas Parade. To the fullest extent possible, the Chamber will seek the involvement of area individuals, religious and civic organizations, businesses and others. |

Holiday Home Tour / Deb Bradley, Chairwoman

Held the first Sunday of December, the Chamber sponsors this afternoon event as a fundraiser and along with the Christmas Parade is a great way to kick off the Holiday season. |
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Partner with Visioneering Wichita |

The Chamber will continue its partnership with Visioneering Wichita and adopt strategies that can be incorporated into the Chambers mission and form strategic alliances with other organizations to develop and implement Visioneering goals. |

Augusta Progress Inc. Trent Schell, Chairman

In a supportive partnership role with City of Augusta, Downtown Augusta, Inc. and Augusta Progress Inc., the Chamber will work to formulate incentives and to selectively recruit new business and industry to our community and address issues key to future development. |

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
Business Recognition / Sharon Sudduth
• “Member2Member” Recognition in the Newsletter. Members are encouraged to share positive experiences they have had at other member businesses.
• “Around the Town” column – The Chamber will continue to publish this column in the newsletter and Gazette Chamber page where we recognize professional achievement, new products & services, and other newsworthy items.
• Ribbon Cuttings – The Chamber will continue to hold ribbon cuttings for new businesses and their pictures and information will be published in the newsletter, the Gazette Chamber page and on the website.
Communications / Sharon Sudduth
• The Chamber will continue to communicate business news and community events through the publication of its newsletter, brochure and business directory, and web site; and will expand communications through fax and email groups, other mailings.

Provide opportunities for members to get together and get acquainted through:
